The rice harvesting has started one decade before the earlier planned schedule due to early planting and favorable conditions during the growing season in the Kuban.

Traditionally in the Krasnodar region the rice harvest begins in September, but this year the rice, that was sown in late April, has matured by the last week of August. If the weather is favorable for harvesting, the crop could be very good.
